practise staff

At Dr Taylor’s practice, we continually strive to maintain a high standard of patient care.

The practice comprises of a small, close team, consisting of Dr David Taylor, practice nurse, Melinda, receptionist, Jett and medical typist/admin support, Sophie. Our staff endeavour to exceed patient and carer expectations for comfort, convenience and efficiency.

collaborations

The practice collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams such as physiotherapists, dieticians, wound and stomal therapists, radiologists and many more to ensure patients receive safe and comprehensive care. Above all, the staff understand the sensitive nature of colorectal conditions and provide a compassionate, caring and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Jett & Sophie – Medical Receptionists

Jett & Sophie provide administrative support to Dr Taylor. They ensure the practice functions smoothly and handle all phone and email enquiries.

Melinda – Practice Nurse

Melinda has been Dr Taylor’s Practice Nurse since 2017. She also worked with Dr Taylor at the Wesley Hospital for approximately three years prior to this. Melinda is a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife and has worked in a variety of roles including acute care within medical and surgical specialties, maternal and newborn care and patient care coordination. Her role at the practice is to provide clinical support to patients, including optimisation and coordination of pre and post operative care and follow up, patient advice and education.
